Catering students and staff took control of the running of the Grasmere Red Lion Hotel in the Lake District last weekend. Students from all levels of study took part in the management of the bar, restaurant and kitchen for more than 90 guests. This is the 26th year that Liverpool Community College students have had the opportunity to run the popular hotel for an entire weekend. Lecturer, Brian Hough said; “The students did a really good job and proved that they’re a real credit to themselves and the College. They received lots of positive feedback from guests staying at the hotel, many claiming it to be ”their best ever” experience.
